DataFix has a proven track record delivering high quality services under tight time constraints.

DataFix is looking for a talented, energetic Senior Software Developer to join the team in our downtown Toronto location. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to grasp new situations quickly. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to participate in designing, developing, testing, and integrating applications of medium complexity; based on existing and new features for web-based election management applications. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, with multiple priorities but will have supervisory assistance and guidance.

What you will be doing:

· Create and maintain web-based applications with a focus on security and performance

· Participate in designing, developing, testing and integrating applications of medium complexity

Qualifications:

· At least 3 years of front-end web application development, mid-tier and database experience

· At least 3 years experience working with Microsoft .Net Core and C#

· Experience with .Net MVC applications

· A degree or diploma in an Information Technology discipline

· Strong written and oral communication

· Knowledge of web application design and modern web development technologies

· Knowledge of database design and development

· Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions

· Solution focused, takes initiative to work effectively within established guidelines

· Ability to multi-task and flourish in a fast- paced, deadline-driven work environment

· Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Assets:

· Experience creating web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery

· Experience with Angular

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
